Loudoun County Alumnae Chapter | Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated
Welcome
Message from our Chapter President

Truphelia M. Parker

Greetings Sorors, Community Partners, and Friends,
It is with profound gratitude and unwavering commitment that I welcome you on behalf of the Loudoun County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
As president, I am both honored and humbled to serve at the helm of a chapter rooted in sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.
Our theme for this biennium, “Forward Together. Where Love Leads, Service Follows,” speaks to the heart of our work. It is love—for our community, our youth, our elders, and one another—that fuels our unwavering dedication to meaningful service. Together, we will walk boldly into the future, united by purpose and guided by the values
that have shaped Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated since 1913.
Guided by our Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust—
● Economic Development
● Educational Development
● International Awareness and Involvement
● Physical and Mental Health
● Political Awareness and Involvement
—our chapter remains committed to uplifting and empowering the Loudoun County community and beyond. Through innovative programming, strategic engagement, and unwavering advocacy, we will continue to be a beacon of light and leadership.
As we move forward, my administration is focused on three primary goals:
1. Build Community Internally and Externally – Strengthening our sisterhood while deepening our connection with the community we serve.
2. Identify, Develop, and Grow Strategic Partnerships and Alliances – Collaborating with organizations and leaders who share our vision for equity, justice, and progress.
3. Identify, Develop, and Grow Sponsor Relationships – Expanding our capacity and sustainability through strong sponsorships that support our impactful work.
To our community, we extend an open hand and a heartfelt invitation to partner with us, walk beside us, and grow with us. To our sorors, your passion and purpose are the foundation of all that we do. Together, we will soar.
Let us press forward—with love as our compass and service as our charge.
In Sisterhood and Service,
Truphelia M. Parker
President, Loudoun County Alumnae Chapter
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated
FORWARD TOGETHER.
WHERE LOVE LEADS, SERVICE FOLLOWS.
